Web Designer & Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Web Designer & Developer with a strong background in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and experience with Tailwind CSS, React, and Git. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for design, strong coding skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with WooCommerce is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development:

  • Create visually appealing and responsive web designs with HTML, CSS (Tailwind CSS), and React.

  • Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.

• Maintenance & Updates:

  • Perform regular site maintenance, updates, and optimizations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on websites promptly.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products on time.

  • Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and follow best practices in version control using Git.

• Performance & Usability:

  • Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO.

  • Test and debug websites across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.

• Innovation & Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

  • Suggest and implement improvements to workflows, processes, and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in WordPress theme/plugin development and WordPress architecture.

  • Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.

  • Familiarity with React for building interactive front-end components.

  • Solid understanding of version control using Git.

• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve coding or design issues efficiently.

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in a team and taking feedback constructively.

• Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization.

  • Familiarity with modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite) and development processes.

  • Understanding of SEO best practices.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 2+ years of experience in web design and development with a strong focus on WordPress, React, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS).
